August 15-22, Spoltore, Italy
I was invited to the project “Questione di Stile” (eng. Matter of Style), an exhibition that takes place during the 29th edition of the “Spoltore Ensemble” Festival. The exhibition hosts a selection of emerging Italian creatives and their work through different fields of the communication design, from graphic to motion design.

I wish I had somebody to say “I’m sorry I haven’t posted for a while” but being probably the only person following my blog I don’t think that anybody care…
The excuse is that I got married in New York the last month then went to the Hawaii for the honeymoon, and when I got back I had to work night and day to get back on track with the deadlines.
In this picture a little gift we gave to the guests of our wedding, in Italian is called “Confetti” which means sugared almonds.

World is changing - or better has changed, kids are used to technology, computers are everywhere. Nothing sounds really new about that. It’s just that I didn’t expect that my little 8 years old cousin is drawing using a wacom tablet directly on her computer.
She sent me this beautiful paint as a present for our imminent wedding, look at the colors, the composition, the idea that we are watching each other… I may need to shorten the sleeves of my jacket but it so lovely, there is so much in it!
Thanks Matilde!

Yesterday I was walking around at the hospital in Sondalo, Italy when I came across this beautiful piece of design. It looks messy but if you try to read it carefully it’s quite straight forward, except for the “Cappella” (chapel) and the “Uscita Nord” (North Exit) which are in the middle not meaning anything to me.
I have to admit that I’ve found the Bar easily even though the hospital has 9 pavilions and I had to walk across 3 of them, but on the way back I met a person that has been working at the hospital for the last 25 years and couldn’t find pavilion 5.

About 10 years ago I designed this logo to be the symbol of our snowboard/skate crew called SPL (spallebbasse), I made hundreds of tees and sweatshirts for our friends. Sometimes walking around I still see somebody wearing them. It’s almost time for a new edition!
R.I.P Deakids pitch
One of the most important Italian book editor decided to go on air with a channel for kids. I made this boards in 2008 for the branding pitch. The idea was to make something that would have looked good for the children, very animated and playful, but still reliable and safe for their parents. The book when opened releases all its contents filling the kids’ world with tons of fun and colors. Sorry kids you couldn’t watch it.
